| Artwork Open Call OXIDE @ banter Show: May - July 2012 Show This is a multi-artist juried theme show open to all artists living in North Texas. Each artist must be present and involved during each step of our multi-step showing process personally. From submitting artwork to artwork pick-up, if an artist is unavailable or unwilling to participate in each step personally, we are unable to accept and show their artwork. - No Exceptions Theme: No theme, just an eclectic showing of artwork created by local artists. Subject matter is open to anything. Artwork should reflect the artist's own personal style. Restrictions: No restrictions on medium. Original Artwork Only. Must be Wall hanging artwork, cannot display 3D artwork. Single piece artwork only, no diptychs, triptychs, etc. Minimum size allowed is 18"x24", No maximum size restriction. All artwork must be submitted ready for installation per gallery rules for hanging in banter. Any artwork not meeting our rules will not be installed in show. OXIDE Gallery does not negotiate with perspective customers on the price of artwork. Please price all your submissions at the lowest price you will accept for the piece. Price must include the gallery’s 25% commission. Number of Entries allowed: Maximum of 3 pieces artwork per artist. Submission Fee: $5.00 per piece of artwork, due at time artwork is submitted. (Cash Only, No checks or Credit Cards) EXTENDED Submission Dates: Monday, April 16th thru Saturday, April 21st. Submissions can be delivered to OXIDE Gallery any day during normal gallery hours Mon-Fri 9a - 5p and Sat 9a - 1p. This has to be done by the artist themselves NO EXCEPTIONS. Early submissions may be accepted with prior permission, but no submissions accepted after close of business on Saturday, April 21st. Each artist will need to fill out a Schedule A form when they drop off their submissions. The jury will review all entries and make their selections. Artists will be contacted the following Monday with the jury’s decisions and required to come back in no later than Saturday, May 5th and sign contracts and/or pick up unselected artwork.
